The Revd Canon Bruce Kinsey
Bruce Kinsey comes from the London area originally and studied at Kings College London. Before going there and whilst here he spent much time in the Holy Land on several archaeological digs, and working at a school there.
He continued his studies at Kings, completing a research Masters in Church History. Ordained in London he served in the northwest of the diocese and then in a west London parish, in HM Prison Wormwood Scrubs and in an HIV/AIDS charity. From there he become a college Chaplain in Cambridge for a decade, before moving into private practise as a psychoanalytic therapist and supervisor, and working at a school, and writing for several journals. He moved to Oxford in 2014 to work in a College, and now in retirement works as a therapist and at St Stephens House teaching pastoral psychology. He is a canon of Ely Cathedral and is an advisor for the pastoral care of clergy.
