From September 2023 St Stephen’s House will have the status of an Anglican Theological College and will no longer be a Permanent Private Hall of the University of Oxford.

The college will continue to offer the full range of undergraduate and graduate theological qualifications of the University of Oxford for ordinands, clergy and lay workers. It is also validated by the University of Durham as a Theological Education Institution, offering the Common Award for all suitably qualified applicants.
